Shawn McAllister’s dedication to the commercial construction business he built from the ground up extends beyond the normal and borders on fanatical.  His entrepreneurial spirit drives the company and his enthusiasm for the job is contagious.

“There is no other industry where you can achieve this sense of accomplishment,” says Shawn.  “In a fixed duration a wooded area or empty shell can be transformed into the most amazing structure or space.”

As the son of a successful real estate developer in the Northeast, Shawn visited job sites from the time he was a child and begged his father to take him to real estate closings.

“My father would take an ordinary, run-down building and turn it into a piece of property with a purpose, with potential,” says Shawn.  “From that point on I knew this is what I wanted to do.” 

Shawn runs the Interiors and Ground-Up divisions of McAllister.  His background as a contractor, businessman and restaurant/bar owner means that he understands the needs of his clients and the challenges of the commercial construction industry:  budgets, finance, timing, quality, integrity and details.
